Holyoke Community College Foundation Annual Report.

Amanda E. Sbriscia, Ed.D.

Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Executive Director of the HCC Foundation

As Executive Director of the Holyoke Community College Foundation, it is my honor to share with you our annual report for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. This has been an outstanding year for the Foundation and for Holyoke Community College.

I am thrilled to report that through your generous support, we awarded 259 scholarships totaling $304,125 to 249 incoming, current, and transferring HCC students over the past year. Providing scholarships remains our highest priority, as we strive to make an HCC education accessible and affordable. These funds have a real and direct impact on students’ lives.

In addition to our scholarship funding, I am proud to share that the Foundation was named Nonprofit of the Year by the Greater Chicopee Chamber of Commerce. This honor recognizes our dedicated staff, board, donors, and volunteers who help advance the mission of HCC through philanthropy.

Finally, the Foundation was selected to receive the prestigious John W. Nason Award for Board Leadership from the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges. This award celebrates our board’s commitment to best practices in nonprofit governance. It is a testament to their hard work and engagement on behalf of HCC and its students.

Successes like these would not be possible without supporters like you. On behalf of our students, faculty, and staff, please accept my deepest thanks for believing in the mission of Holyoke Community College and investing in its future through the Foundation. With your continued partnership, I look forward to even greater achievements in the year ahead.
